Epec has released MultiTool Diagnoser (MTD), a diagnostics and maintenance tool for Epec control system products.

As the successor to Epec CANmoon, MTD provides a modern environment for configuring units, monitoring and diagnosing CAN and Ethernet communication, and updating firmware and application software.

MTD supports all Epec products and combines diagnostics, configuration, monitoring, and software updates in a single tool. The tool includes capabilities such as multi-bus support, remote CAN connectivity, configurable workspaces, trend analysis, I/O diagnostics, CAN database support, and Python scripting. Future development of Epec diagnostic tooling and support for new products and features will be focused on the MTD platform.
