A better view creates better control.

This new feature in JTA Connection’s HMI control makes palletizing easier to understand at a glance by visualizing how the stacked parts will be positioned on the pallet. 🖥️⚙️

Instead of trying to interpret stacking logic from numerical values or spreadsheet-like fields alone, the operator can now see the layout directly on screen. That makes the whole process more intuitive and easier to follow in day-to-day production.

Why does this matter in practice?

Not exactly the kind of robot that blends into the background.

In the photo, JTA Connection’s Sales Director Jarkko Lepistö stands next to a M-1000iA — a truly heavy-duty industrial robot built for serious workpiece handling.

A few key facts about this giant:
▪️ payload capacity of up to 1000 kg
▪️ maximum reach of 3253 mm
▪️ designed for handling large and heavy workpieces
▪️ well-suited for demanding manufacturing environments where both strength and controlled motion matter

Robots of this size are not just impressive because of their scale, but because of what they make possible in industrial production. Heavy workpieces can be challenging and even dangerous to handle with traditional lifting methods. By automating the process, production can be made not only more efficient but also safer.

In this particular case, the robot will operate on a 28-meter linear track and tend three machining centers, handling metal castings weighing nearly 1,000 kilograms.

:💥 We are pleased to share that JTA Connection has signed an agreement with KUKA to integrate 37 autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for a major European automotive manufacturer.

The project includes the programming, commissioning, and integration of 37 KUKA mobile robots into the customer’s manufacturing line. It is part of a broader development effort to improve internal logistics and support smoother material flow within the production environment.

AMRs are playing an increasingly important role in modern manufacturing, where flexibility, efficiency, and reliable material handling are essential.

“When implemented with expertise, AMRs can streamline material flow, improve flexibility, and play an invaluable role in creating smoother logistics and production across the entire factory. That is why being selected by KUKA for a project of this scale is especially meaningful and a strong sign of trust in our expertise in internal logistics and material flow development,” says Jere Mattjus, CEO of JTA Connection.

Overall, the project further strengthens JTA Connection’s position in demanding AMR integration projects, where success depends not only on technology, but also on strong expertise in production environments, material flows, and system integration.

Työssä vastaat teollisuuden asiakkaidemme laitteiden huolloista, korjauksista ja pienemmistä muutostöistä. Huollettavat laitteet ovat pääosin kappaleenkäsittelylaitteita, kuten kuljettimia, nostimia ja robotteja sekä niiden oheislaitteita.

Pääasiallinen työskentelyalueesi on Iisalmi ja sen lähialueet, m***a työhön voi sisältyä satunnaisia, muutaman kerran vuodessa tehtäviä työmatkoja muualle Suomeen.

Työ on luonteeltaan itsenäistä, m***a et jää yksin – tuki on aina saatavilla puhelimitse ja tarvittaessa myös paikan päällä.

Työtehtäviisi kuuluu mm.
▪️Huolto-, asennus- ja korjaustyöt asiakkailla
▪️Pienimuotoiset muutostyöt laitteisiin
▪️Oman ja huoltotiimin työn organisointi kentällä
▪️Varaosavaraston ylläpito

Tehtävänkuva muotoutuu osaamisesi mukaan, m***a pääset työskentelemään mm. automaatio- ja robottiratkaisujen suunnittelun, käyttöönottojen sekä asiakastuen parissa. Suunnittelu- ja testaustyötä tehdään Tampereella (tai osittain etänä), ja käyttöönotot asiakkaidemme luona.

Olisi hienoa, jos sinulta löytyisi kokemusta jostakin seuraavista:
▪️Beckhoff TwinCAT
▪️Siemens TIA Portal
▪️Fanuc, KUKA tai ABB -teollisuusrobotit (+offline-ohjelmointiympäristöt)
▪️MiR tai KUKA mobiilirobotit

Etsimme henkilöitä, jotka ovat valmiita myös reissutyöhön. Työmatkat voivat kestää muutamasta päivästä muutamaan viikkoon, ja kohteita on Suomessa, Keski-Euroopassa sekä Pohjois-Amerikassa. Three cells, one shared goal: more efficient production and better use of floor space. 🏭📐

This solution delivered for AGCO Power Oy in Linnavuori demonstrates how well-designed automation can improve productivity while also making better use of available production space. By using JTA Connection’s gantry loading system in all three bin picking cells, the overall layout was significantly more compact.

This project highlights several key benefits:

▪️automatic handling of parts directly from randomly filled pallets through bin picking
▪️a more compact cell layout that saved a significant amount of valuable floor space
