Spaceship 2014 Tampereen Uudella Tehtaalla 11-13.4.2014. Puhujaksi on kutsuttu myös projektimme , joten odotettavissa ainakin yhdet kalvosulkeiset sekä joukko huonoja vitsejä. Puhujavuoro vielä hieman avoimena, m***a kerron tarkemmin kun ajankohta selviää.

Avaruus on loputon - ja siksi loputtoman kiinnostava. Tutkimusmatkamme Spaceship 2014 alkaa 11.4. ja päättyy 13.4.2014 Tampereen Uudella Tehtaalla. Tarjoamme mahdollisuuden osallistua vuoden intensiivisimpään teknologiatapahtumaan, jossa tuomme yhteen Suomen avaruustoiminnan ykkösnimet URSAsta Rovioon. Tapahtuma on ikärajaton ja ilmainen. Kaikkien aiheesta kiinnostuneiden kannattaakin tulla mukaan! Mukana galaktisia yllätyspuhujia, jotka julkaistaan lähiviikkoina.
Osallistujien tavoitteena on vastata 48 tunnissa NASAn haasteisiin, joihin tänä vuonna kuuluvat mm. älyvaatteet, avaruusmatkailu ja universaalien sääilmiöiden seuranta. Osallistujat muodostavat tiimejä ja kehittävät yhdessä ratkaisuaan kansainvälisessä ympäristössä. Parhaat ratkaisut palkitaan NASAn salaisella huippupalkinnolla, joka viime vuonna vei suomalaisen Space Veggies -tiimin katsomaan MAVEN-luotaimen laukaisua Kennedy Space Centeriin.
Kannustamme erityisesti teknologiasta ja avaruudesta kiinnostuneita ihmisiä lähtemään mukaan ideoimaan kanssamme mukavassa seurassa. Taitovaatimuksia ei innostuksen lisäksi ole ja monialaisuus on todellakin valttia tiimiä muodostaessa. Ei siis pelkkää koodausta ja 3D-mallinnusta, jokaisen taitoja tarvitaan!

Space is infinite - infinitely interesting! Our mission at Spaceship 2014 starts on 11.4. and finishes on 13.4.2014 at New Factory in Tampere. We're offering you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in the highly intensive technology event that brings together Finnish space instances from URSA to Rovio. The event is free and there's no age limit so absolutely everyone is invited! We have some galactic surprise speakers coming up which we'll reveal later on.
Participants' goal is in 48 hours to resolve NASA's challenges, ranging from wearable technology, space travel/tourism and global weather tracking. Participants team up and work their way through the challenges in international teams and environment. The best of the best will be rewarded by NASA, which took last years winning Finns, the Space Veggies team to see the MAVEN launch at the Kennedy Space Center
We're calling especially all technology and space enthusiasts to brainstorm with us in a nice, relaxed environment and company. There are no specific skill requirements, yet useful skills range from graphic design, coding and modeling to know-how in physics, architecture and other fields. International teams are also encouraged, so foreign friends can join their forces too! And remember, the only thing you need is enthusiasm!
