Building a Legacy: The Story of Mr. Harak Narayan.

Mr. Harak Narayan was the visionary founder of Pinto Industries Pte Limited, a proudly Fijian owned company that grew from humble beginnings into one of the leading manufacturing and construction business in Fiji.

Mr. Narayan founded Pinto industries in 1980 in Vunivau, Labasa. His dedication, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit, he established the company with a strong commitment to providing quality products, reliable service, and employment opportunities for the local community. His leadership, determination, and business values laid the foundation for the success and reputation that Pinto Industries enjoys today. He then shifted to Naseakula, Labasa on 1996. Then expanded his ranges of product and warehouses.

Mr. Harak Narayan passed away on 23 March 2013, leaving behind a lasting legacy of integrity, perseverance, and service. Following his passing, his son, Mr. Vishal Narayan, who had already been actively involved in the business, assumed full leadership of the company and continued to build upon his father’s vision. Under his stewardship, Pinto Industries has continued to expand and evolve while remaining committed to the principles and values established by its founder.

Under Vishal Narayan’s leadership, Pinto Industries expanded its operations across multiple sectors, including Roofing & Profile, Tanks, Concrete Blocks, Logging & Sawmill, Homeware Plastic Products, Construction, Logistics, and a latest project Quarry. Exporting products in the pacific also Australia and New Zealand. Currently with 300+ workers on board.

Vishal Narayan’s vision was not only to build a successful business but also to contribute to the development of Fiji mainly his hometown Labasa by supporting housing, employment, commercial projects, and local small businesses.

The legacy of Mr. Harak Narayan remains at the heart of Pinto Industries, inspiring future generations to continue growing the business while maintaining the principles upon which it was founded. He is dearly missed by his Wife, 3 daughters, son and Grandchildren
