Inert gas welding requires the exclusion of oxygen from the weld zone during the welding process 🙌

Prior to the welding process, the residual oxygen concentration must be reduced to a required minimum.

The PPM Handy Purge 100 is specifically designed to indicate oxygen concentration up to 0.01% and to exactly measure oxygen concentration up to 0.1%.

Within this range, it is absolutely safe to weld and produce an oxygen-free weld seam (exceptions include special metals such as titanium, etc.).

Proper purging = Stronger welds! 🔥

Here, our PPM Double Seal kit is used with the Axxair Innovative Orbital Solutions SATFX170 closed head welding system to ensure a clean, high-quality weld 🙌

Purging before welding is essential to eliminate oxygen and contaminants inside the tube/pipe. Without it, oxidation can compromise weld integrity, leading to weaker joints and costly rework.

Our silicone Double Seal purging system forms an airtight seal using silicon discs, dramatically reducing inert gas consumption and purge time ⏱️—saving both time and resources while ensuring flawless welds.
