"GSI Machinery LLC out in the field this week helping a customer commission some new orbital welding equipment! This is the GSI difference in action; we don’t just ship you a machine and wish you good luck we take the extra time and effort to help you get setup and can provide additional training as well.

This is a pulled tee welding application for a data center chill water piping system. We are welding 1” schedule 10 SS pipe into a 4” sched 10 SS pipe header.

Using the Axxair Innovative Orbital Solutions SATFX115 weld head with a special pulled tee collet and a swivel tungsten holder we are able to reach right down to the weld seam on just a small raised tee.

This significantly reduces the skill needed to make these welds and offers a fast cycle time.

We were able to rent this solution to the customer before so that they could prove it out in a real production environment before purchasing." 🙌
