We are checking out the new Stricker Handbike Smart Free, and the engineering behind it is pretty unique.

Stricker has completely removed the mechanical drivetrain in this handbike. By adopting the PERS Chainless architecture, the crankset generates energy that is transmitted directly to the motor via wire.

The best part? This system allows you to manage the resistance for your arms separately from the speed. You can hand pedal lightly while the motor provides full power—or the other way around.
