Every journey tells a story ✈️

For 40 years, Finnair 's ATR aircraft have been connecting communities across Finland, helping people travel, reunite, and stay connected, no matter the distance.

It all started in 1986 with the first ATR 42 flight to Kuopio. Since then, several generations of ATR aircraft have supported regional travel across the country, evolving to meet changing needs while remaining a reliable link between regions.

Today, Finnair's ATR fleet, operated by Norra , connect 31 destinations ensuring that communities remain within reach.

Progress in aviation is built on everyday decisions ✈️🌍

At ATR, that means:
– up to 45% less fuel burn
– 69g CO₂ per seat/km

And working together to go further. Mandarin Airlines recently completed a delivery flight using 30% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), a step forward through collaboration.

This Earth Day, we recognize the people and partnerships moving regional aviation forward.
