With the delivery of its first ATR 72-600, Cambodia Airways is introducing turboprop operations for the first time as it continues expanding its network across Cambodia and Southeast Asia.

Designed for regional routes, the ATR 72-600 will complement Cambodia Airways' existing jet operations by supporting higher frequencies, greater flexibility and efficient connectivity between destinations throughout the region.

When PNG Air’s first ATR 42-600 arrived in Papua New Guinea, it was welcomed not just as a new aircraft, but as a symbol of connection.

What a way to arrive.

After crossing continents from Toulouse to Dhaka, Air Astra's newest ATR 72-600, from lessor Abelo, performed a stunning low pass over Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport before landing to a water-cannon salute under the golden evening sky.

This is the first of three new ATR aircraft joining the airline's fleet to support growing regional connectivity across Bangladesh.

Congratulations to Air Astra and everyone involved in making this delivery a success.
