Terra Aquatica Terra Aquatica Today Terra Aquatica products can be found nourishing wholesome crops providing food, medicine and flowers world-wide.

Terra Aquatica - was founded in France, in 1994 by William Texier and Noucetta (Marie) Kehdi, having gained international recognition for their hydroponic farm, the White Owl WaterFarm, where they grew crops that were served by Michelin starred restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area in the early 1990’s. William innovated from the beginning, developing new products and methods by combining the p

ower of hydroponic technology with the qualities and ecological sensitivities of organic / Bio methods that have now become so important. Together William and Noucetta pioneered new methods of modern farming by using only the purest fertilizer ingredients, many of them food grade, and combining them with the most pure organic / Bio ingredients available. At Terra Aquatica products are formulated to meet the specialized needs of growers in all kinds of environments who cultivate plants for their personal and local needs. The primary design criteria for products unique to Terra Aquatica is to make wholesome, sustainable and environmentally sensitive products for growers. All products are formulated to local standards where water, light, temperature, humidity and natural considerations make unique microenvironments ranging from the deserts of the Middle East to the forests of the Arctic in Siberia. Each unique environment forms a unique marketplace with greatly varying customer needs and plant needs. Terra Aquatica is at the forefront of modern agriculture. Respected and known in academic circles world- wide, William and Noucetta travel and teach extensively. They have written and published numerous articles and books which today are part of the curriculum for students of agriculture world- wide. William’s book, Hydroponics for Everybody, is now available in 7 languages and provides growers a wealth of information and knowledge about how to grow plants for their personal and family needs.

A quick photo shoot in the greenhouse today!

Despite the return of the heat and the wide temperature swings, the plants are healthy. The secret? We build up their resilience well in advance and adapt to the environment!

During heat waves, we adjust our care routine and focus on prevention:

⏸️ Stop fertilizing: There’s no point in forcing the plant when it’s suffering from the heat.

🍂 Mulch the soil: The essential trick for retaining moisture much longer.

☀️ Move the pots: Keep your plants out of the hottest direct sunlight.

🌿 Biostimulants & targeted care:

Microorganisms (such as StreptoLogic) to help plants cope with stress.

Spray liquid fulvic acid (Fulvic) on the foliage (diluted to 3 ml/L) to boost nutrient uptake.

Silicate applied to damaged leaves to strengthen their structure.

Seaweed extract (Seaweed) to help them get through this tough time.

Bumblebees have a clever strategy to make plants flower faster when needed! How? They deliberately nibble on the plants’ leaves!
This specific bite creates a stress that speeds up blooming by up to 30 days earlier—a true botanical genius move that scientists haven’t been able to replicate artificially.
A fascinating behavior that proves once again just how essential these pollinators are to nature.

Our greenhouse in the early morning... What could be more beautiful than a greenhouse in top form, despite the 43°C heat of the past few days?
We’re helping the plants build up strong resistance, particularly with the help of microorganisms (not to mention the photographer’s morning coffee—he starts his day in the cool air with a quick tour of our magnificent greenhouse).
And you, how are you managing your greenhouses in this heat?
