Congrats to the Wales Millennium Centre - Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru located in Cardiff Bay for having chosen 4 Arthur LT followspots 😍, replacing their existing Xenon spots.

“A common gripe with touring companies was that our spots were slightly dim compared to upgraded, predominantly LED-heavy touring rigs. The distance from the spot box to the stage to the stage - 36 metres - coupled with the ages of the spots was a big factor in that. With a move to LED and the slightly higher lumen count that we managed to test during the demo, we ended up landing on the RJ Arthurs. The choice was also supported by the good reviews from other UK theatres and the reports of touring production staff coming into the venue.” reports Josie Allen, Deputy Technical Manager at the Centre.

The Centre’s followspot operators have responded positively to their new units citing the Arthurs’ smooth operation, brightness, throw range, low heat, and reduced noise, as delivering a significant improvement to the theatre.

The King's Theatre in Edinburgh modernised its FOH lighting positions with new Bizet tunable white profiles as well as its newly created followspot box with long-throw Arthur LT LED units.

“Bizet has a lovely dimmer curve which compares well to its tungsten predecessor, the RJ 700SX - it’s such an even light with a great spread and no black holes. The shutters are extremely versatile - you can achieve any angle and add more should you need them, then lock them into place with the shutter lock. Bizet ticks so many boxes. We also discovered its focus setting which is really nice bonus and very useful. The ability to pop the fixture into focus mode locally is ideal, especially when setting up a front cover in a hurry. It is a single button press on and off, no complex menus - winner!" explains Heather Rolland, Senior Technician at the King's Theater.

Following the launch of Sig-Net® at the PLASA European PlugFest earlier this year, CyberFest is a brand-new, dedicated three-day PlugFest, focused on the practical implementation of Sig-Net, SNOW and File-Transfer protocols. 👀

🧠 Taking place on 2–4 September at LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) in London, CyberFest will give developers, product specialists and systems engineers a collaborative, hands-on environment to test interoperability, debug implementations and prepare for the requirements of the EU Cyber Resilience Act.

When it came time to modernize its followspot inventory, thetechnical leadership of Place des Arts, Canada’s largest performing arts center, knew the replacement would need to meet exceptionally high standards, which they found with our Arthur LT LED Followspot, supplied by our partner .

The installation includes 4 Arthur LT units at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, the center’s largest theatre, and 2 units at Théâtre Maisonneuve.

We are excited about and upcoming 'Open House' event in Scotland, showcasing our SpotMe System.
