Demolition, drilling, pile driving, road traffic, trains or industrial machinery can all generate vibrations that travel through the ground and reach nearby structures.

But their impact cannot be assessed by intensity alone.

⛪️ A fine example of how the Géotec Group’s expertise complements FEELBAT’s monitoring solutions.

Let’s take a look back at this collaboration, which took place as part of the conservation and restoration of the abbey church of Saint-Theudère.

The investigations carried out by Géotec were supplemented by the installation of connected monitoring equipment on the building to track its deformations and changes in the water table over time.

The aim: to provide reliable data to better understand the structural issues, assess the effectiveness of the works and inform future decisions on structural reinforcement.
