AERO ENGINE Inspection & Intervention: Integrated workflow, from one manufacturer
EFER Endoscopy offers an integrated in-situ tooling solution to support inspection, corrective action, and return-to-service verification directly on-wing:
STEP 01 - DETECT

The process begins with high-precision visual inspection using the SPECTRE videoscope . Inspect compressor, turbines stages and combustion chamber using the modular SPECTRE videoscope equipped with a full range of precision optical tips. Measure defects, missing material, with the stereo algorithm.
STEP 02 - CORRECT
Once the indication is confirmed and repairable, corrective action can be performed using the ENDOGRINDER tool. Blend damaged blades with ENDOGRINDER tool, compatible with SPECTRE or traditional SIRIUS optical borescopes.
STEP 03 - CHECK
In-situ
Verify the absence of post-blend residual cracks using the ENDOFPI system with its purpose-designed rigid or flexible scopes and avoid follow-up BSI of blended blades.
