🧬 Synaptic function is one of the earliest casualties in many neurodegenerative diseases. But measuring it in a human-relevant model — at the synapse level — has historically been a challenge. That's where iPSC Neurons come in.

NSA ran a Patch Clamp study using FUJIFILM CDI's iCell GlutaNeurons to measure mEPSCs — a direct readout of synapse integrity in human iPSC-derived neurons.

This matters for neurodegeneration programs where synapse loss is a key feature and gene silencing therapies need functional validation.
