Dans le process de fabrication des tubes ou barres étirés à froid en acier, inox, superalliage ou cuivre, l’émerisage peut avoir deux utilités.

✨ La première est d’obtenir un tube poli lorsque l’esthétisme ou un état de surface bien spécifique sont importants.

✨ La deuxième, plus technique, est de retirer la couche superficielle du tube ou de la barre qui peut avoir subi une décarburation de surface lors des divers traitements thermiques tout au long du process.

Afin de booster notre productivité et la qualité vis-à-vis des besoins de tubes pour l’aéronautique et la défense, nous réceptionnons aujourd’hui notre 𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐞́𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐋𝐓-𝐇𝐘𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐒𝟐/𝐖𝐄𝐓 à double tête chez notre fournisseur Garboli .

In the manufacturing process of cold drawn tubes or bars made of steel, stainless steel, superalloy or copper, grinding or linishing can have two uses.

✨ The first is to obtain a polished tube when aesthetics or a very specific surface finish are important.

✨ The second, more technical, is to remove the surface layer of the tube or bar which may have undergone surface decarburization during the various heat treatments throughout the process.

In order to boost our productivity and quality with regards to the needs of tubes for aeronautics and defense, we are today receiving our 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐓-𝐇𝐘𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐒𝟐/𝐖𝐄𝐓 double-head grinding machine from our supplier Garboli .

Ces trois tubes hexagonaux sans soudure en 𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐱 𝟑𝟏𝟔𝐓𝐢, étirés à froid, paraissent similaires… mais chacun possède un niveau d’𝐞́𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞́𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭, spécifiquement défini selon la demande de notre client.

🎯 Grâce à une étude précise de nos équipes Méthodes, nous avons combiné traitements de mise en solution et passes d’étirage adaptées afin d’obtenir des niveaux d’écrouissage 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 % 𝐚̀ 𝟑𝟎 %.

🎯 Thanks to a precise analysis by our Methods team, we combined solution annealing treatments and tailored drawing passes to achieve work hardening levels ranging 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟎% 𝐭𝐨 𝟑𝟎%.

Once the performance is validated by our client and the optimal work hardening level is selected, we will proceed to series production of the tubes.

In order to avoid oxygen attack during heat treatment, our heat treatment furnace operates under a nitrogen 𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 towards the steel.
