🔬 Pierre Desreumaux, Professeur de médecine, gastro-entérologue au CHU de Lille et président de la fondation DigestScience, est un expert reconnu dans le domaine des maladies digestives. Il dirige également une unité de recherche INSERM et est consultant scientifique pour Lesaffre depuis 15 ans.

💡 Qu’est-ce que la fondation DigestScience ?
Créée en 2008 par le Pr. Desreumaux, Fondation DigestScience est la première fondation d’utilité publique en France dédiée à la recherche sur les maladies digestives et la nutrition (Crohn, rectocolite hémorragique, maladie cœliaque, SII).

Le Pr. Desreumaux a mené des recherches approfondies sur la souche probiotique dévelopée par Gnosis, S. cerevisiae CNCM I-3856, en tant qu’investigateur principal dans plusieurs essais cliniques. Ses travaux ont notamment contribué à une méta-analyse confirmant son efficacité dans l’amélioration des symptômes gastro-intestinaux chez les patients atteints du syndrome de l’intestin irritable (IBS).
