[COMMITMENT] “My job is to help seafarers.”

After 21 years with BOURBON, including 13 years at sea, Samuel Peslier has continued his career ashore as a Crewing Manager.

Today, he oversees a pool of around 1,000 seafarers, coordinating their operational management while also contributing to the digital transformation of shipmanagement activities.

His experience at sea has shaped a simple belief at the heart of his work: behind every schedule, every file and every crew change, there is a person.

And after all these years, his motivation remains the same: to support seafarers and teams whenever they need it!

[PRESS RELEASE] The Bourbon Evolution 810 begins its first offshore operations in India.

A new milestone for BOURBON’s IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) activities! The Bourbon Evolution 810, the latest vessel in the Bourbon Evolution 800 series, has started its first long-term contract off the Indian coast, supporting our customer’s complex Subsea operations.
Designed for deepwater operations down to 3,000 meters, this vessel strengthens BOURBON’s IMR fleet with enhanced capabilities, combining:
- Advanced DP3 dynamic positioning system and reference systems
- Integrated ROV, survey and construction services
- Two active heave compensated cranes (40t & 150t) covering the entire deck area
- A 1,200 m² deck space designed for complex subsea missions
- Accommodation capacity for up to 105 people, ensuring safe and efficient long-term operations offshore

In a market facing an aging IMR fleet and limited renewal, the arrival of the Bourbon Evolution 810 reflects BOURBON’s commitment to providing modern, versatile solutions to support customers’ most demanding offshore projects.

[SAFETY] A strong safety culture is never built in isolation. It grows through dialogue, trust and a shared commitment across organizations.

That is what yesterday's meeting at BOURBON's headquarters in Marseille was all about, as Gaël BODÉNÈS welcomed a TotalEnergies delegation including Emmanuelle GUEGAN, Albane Arseguel, Jerome Profinet, Fabien Segura and Francois Barbiche.

[INNOVATION] At the request of a client, a BOURBON Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) was mobilised for an unprecedented operation in its history: a gravel pack. 👍

For the first time, a vessel typically dedicated to offshore logistics transport was fully reconfigured to become a temporary industrial platform designed for well completion operations. This operation marks a significant evolution in the use of support vessels, demonstrating their ability to be adapted to complex technical missions beyond their traditional scope!

Today, we are proud to celebrate an important milestone: 1,000 days without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).

This achievement belongs to every member of the Bourbon Congo team. Congrats to our seafarers, the team at the Surfer Repair Center and at the office. Your professionalism, commitment, and constant vigilance have made this milestone possible. 👍

Reaching 1,000 LTI-free days reflects the strong safety culture we continue to build together. A culture where everyone takes ownership, looks out for one another, speaks up, and understands that every action matters.

But in safety, nothing is ever guaranteed!
Every morning, we start again. Every task deserves the same level of attention, every decision matters, and every individual has a role to play in keeping themselves and their colleagues safe.

At BOURBON, our Environment Week is built on this conviction:
our “playground” is also a fragile ecosystem we directly depend on.

👉 Throughout the week, we take a step back to see things differently.

We started with a webinar, “From Sea to Land - The Ocean: our strategic compass”, to decode major dynamics (climate, resources, interdependencies) and better anticipate risks… as well as opportunities.

Then, closer to operations, workshops for our crews to embed good practices and prevent environmental risks in day-to-day activities.

And finally in Marseille, an Ocean Fresk: a collective moment to understand the Ocean’s complexity and identify concrete levers for action together.
