Layer after layer, the structure takes shape.

At the Dufour shipyard, resin is infused through fiberglass fabrics under vacuum, allowing it to flow evenly throughout the structure.

Less excess resin.
Fewer air bubbles and voids.
More fiber at the heart of the hull.

The result:
- a higher fiber-to-resin ratio for increased mechanical strength
- precise material and weight control
- a more homogeneous structure
- consistent quality from one hull to another
- reduced VOC emissions compared with open-moulding processes

Some of the most important work remains invisible once the sailboat is finished. But on the water, it changes everything.
