📢 Kälte Kolloquium 2026 : A Day Munich Won't Forget

The room was meant for 100. 125 showed up. The German refrigeration industry doesn't need a second invitation.

🙌 A special thank you to the trio who made it happen: Gerhard Frei (COOLPLAN), Roland Handschuh and the Eurovent Certification team, who not only organised the day from the ground up, but had Gerhard at the helm as moderator from first keynote to final applause.

🎙️ Morning sessions kicked off with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Maurer setting the tone: the refrigeration industry is in genuine transition, and natural refrigerants are no longer a fringe choice.
Roman Brüderl (ska GmbH), Florian Aumair & Manuel Nachbaur (Equans Österreich) and Dipl.-Ing. Harald Erös (Ingenieurbüro Erös) built on that with real-world NH₃ and propane deployments.
Prof. Dr. Carsten Kortum (DHBW Campus Heilbronn) closed the morning by connecting refrigeration to the wider shifts reshaping retail.

🎙️ The afternoon moved from field to future.
Andreas Koch (Kaufland) gave food retail its voice.
Joachim Dallinger (EPTA Deutschland) turned the focus to the people and training programmes that will determine whether the sector delivers on its ambitions.
Víctor V. Estévez Garrido (Gradhoc Smart) explored AI's growing role in system management.
Dr. Julien Grilliat (ebm-papst) unpacked Ecodesign regulation EU 2024/1834.
And Thomas Michineau (Eurovent Certification) brought it home with the latest CO₂ gas cooler data from our white paper.

💡When the sessions closed, the conversation moved to the rooftop of BMW Welt after visiting the BMW museum. Restaurant Bavarie provided the setting; the industry provided the energy.
