That line set the tone for everything that followed on September 17th. The event took place in partnership with United Spinal Association, which was celebrating its 80th anniversary.

The room was packed. The energy was there from the first minute. But what made the evening was our pilot taking the stage and sharing what Eve has meant in her daily life. That was the moment the room went quiet.

Eve is now commercially available in the United States. And this is just the beginning.

PVA 2026 brought together two areas we care deeply about: advancing rehabilitation research and expanding access for veterans.

For the first time, Wandercraft Atalante X was combined with transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (tSCS), opening a new area of research around the potential of combined therapies in rehabilitation.

Christopher A. Johnson , PhD presented the case study, with Ignacio Montoya as the participant. After four weeks of combined training, the study showed improved gait performance and clearer assistance-dependent muscle activation, particularly at lower levels of robotic assistance.

It is an exciting step for research, and an equally exciting moment for access. Eve is cleared, the first VA teams are being trained this September, and we continue working with USVetServ to help expand access to Eve at home for veterans.

Big news: Eve has received FDA clearance. 🎉

Eve is the world's first self-balancing personal exoskeleton cleared for eligible adults living with spinal cord injuries, built to bring upright mobility from the rehab clinic into everyday life at home.

For years, I experienced much of the world while seated,"* says Caroline, Wandercraft Test Pilot. "Using Eve transformed ordinary moments in ways I never expected, like having conversations eye-to-eye, and simply bringing a new type of confidence into my life."
