Utilising Additive Manufacturing is an excellent process to make moulds for thermoforming or Carbon Fibre Lay Up. With high performing materials like Polyphenylene Sulphide (220°C) and Carbon Polyamide (150°C), High strength complex moulds with high temperature capabilities are feasible and can easily be produced at lower cost compared to conventional mould machining.
