From initial concept to a fully manufactured and tested solution.

We recently completed the design and manufacture of this bespoke Drift Storage Rack for a leading global energy company.

Developed to provide safe, organised and practical storage for 45 drifts, the finished rack incorporates:

✅ Five inclined storage shelves
✅ 45 individual storage positions
✅ Mixed cradle sizes to accommodate different drift diameters
✅ SWL of 400 kg UDL per shelf
✅ 2,000 kg total working capacity
✅ Fully welded steel construction
✅ Forklift handling provisions and extended stability runners
✅ Protective polymer cradles and rear retention
✅ NDT inspection, independent load testing and full manufacturing documentation

This project brought together CAD design, material selection, fabrication, welding, custom component development, protective coating, inspection, testing and final documentation.

Engineered to reduce waste. Built to perform. 🔧

We recently completed the manufacture of a set of IBC Tipper Frames for one of our clients, designed around a very specific operational challenge.

Their process involved dispensing a high value glue / resin product from standard IBCs. When left flat, an IBC can often retain up to approximately 5% of product, particularly with thicker or more viscous materials. On a 1000L container, that can mean around 50L of expensive material left behind as waste.

Our client needed a smarter solution.

Working closely with their team, we designed and fabricated a spring assisted IBC tipper frame that automatically tilts the container to approximately 8° once the IBC reaches a certain weight threshold.

This controlled tipping action allows the remaining product to flow towards the outlet, dramatically improving recovery of the final contents.

🌍 Less waste going to disposal

To ensure long term durability, the frames were then abrasive blasted and powder coated in high visibility canary yellow, providing a far more robust and professional finish compared with traditional wet paint systems.

These frames have generated a lot of interest since manufacture, and the application potential goes far beyond resin systems, including:

• Fuels
• Chemicals
• Oils
• Process liquids
• Other high value viscous products

We recently manufactured a new cellar access hatch for one of our clients and this cellar access hatch shows the value of careful design and practical engineering. We designed and fabricated it in house, then hot dipped galvanised and powder coated it.

The previous setup used two heavy doors that opened independently and made access difficult. We refined the concept into one single door and changed the orientation to provide easier and safer access. Gas struts support the door so you operate it with minimal effort.

A focused upgrade that improves regular use and long term reliability.
