We've recently taken delivery of four new 450AJ RT diesel boom lifts, with a further two machines due to arrive shortly.

This is the first of the six machines to receive our latest EMCO branding and is now available for hire across Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland.

Offering a 16m working height, 8m outreach and a 250kg unrestricted basket capacity, the JLG 450AJ RT is a versatile rough terrain boom lift suited to a wide range of construction, industrial, facilities management and infrastructure projects.

The machines come fitted as standard with anti-entrapment protection and are fully compliant with current site safety requirements, helping customers meet the latest health and safety expectations.

30-tonne concrete beams. Tight concrete cells. Millimetre precision at height.

That’s what this stage of the Hitachi Energy / BAM Nuttall EGL2 project in Peterhead looks like — and exactly where the right equipment (and the right people) make all the difference.

For the last few weeks our 26m tracked spider lifts were fully positioned within the concrete cells, playing a key role in guiding heavy beam lifts into place as they’re installed by a massive Liebherr crane.

For this job, we didn’t just supply the machines —
we also provided an IPAF-qualified operator, fully certified with the relevant CSCS card to work on site, ensuring everything was carried out safely and efficiently from start to finish.
