Tomorrow is day 1 of Seawork 2026! 🌊

C-Tecnics will be exhibiting this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday alongside the Association of Diving Contractors UK & Ireland on Stand U10.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, C-Tecnics systems will also be supporting the Seawork Dive Tank, providing live underwater video, diver communications and recording feeds for demonstrations across the programme.

We're always pleased to support organisations making a positive difference in their local communities.

Recently, we received an update from the 46th Aberdeen Boys' Brigade, Kincorth on some of the activities made possible during their 2025/26 session through sponsorship and community support.

From rock climbing and BMX sessions to skateboarding activities and a visit from the Critter Keeper, the programme provided opportunities for young people to learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy new experiences.

It's great to see the impact that local organisations such as the Boys' Brigade continue to have, and we're delighted to have played a small part in supporting their work.

A big thank you to the volunteers and leaders who make these opportunities possible.

Are we replacing subsea assets too soon? 🌊

At FFU Norway earlier this year, Magnus Lindberg explored how modern compact electronics, imaging systems and sensors can help extend the operational life of mechanically sound subsea assets, avoiding unnecessary full-system replacement.

The article version of the presentation, Rethinking Subsea Fleet Modernisation, has now been featured in the latest issue of Ocean Robotics Planet magazine.

The piece looks at how operators can modernise legacy ROV systems through targeted upgrades, improving capability while reducing cost, downtime and waste.

We’re excited to be exhibiting at Seawork next month alongside the Association of Diving Contractors UK & Ireland! 🌊

Representing C-Tecnics at the exhibition will be Bradley Marr and James W Stobbs, who will be attending Seawork in Southampton from 9–11 June in support of activity across the ADC stand and Seawork Dive Tank.

Throughout the three-day programme, C-Tecnics systems will be providing the live diver video, communications and recording feeds from the tank, supporting demonstrations and in-water activity across the event.

A range of C-Tecnics equipment will also be featured throughout the programme, including our diver recovery systems, cameras, lighting and communications technology.

Ever since moving into the building, it’s probably been one of the things people have asked us about the most, so we’re pleased to finally have it ticking again after six years out of time.

Safe to say the local landmark has made its return.

C-Tecnics recently completed delivery of a large batch of CT4011 subsea LED lights and CT4005 laser systems for offshore operations requiring reliable illumination and accurate visual scaling across multiple deployments.

The project involved supplying 20 subsea lights and 16 laser units as part of a wider equipment package, with all systems assembled, checked and tested in-house prior to dispatch.

Maintaining consistency across the full batch was a key focus throughout, ensuring predictable performance, straightforward integration and dependable operation in the field.
