Nice mixed project just wrapped up for Michael in New Pitsligo! ☀️🔋🚪

We fitted a 4.05kW solar PV system with a 5.2kWh myenergi Libbi battery, plus a brand new back door while we were at it. The panels look great up on the slate roof, and with the battery storing surplus energy, Michael's well set up for lower bills and less reliance on the grid.

And the new back door? Smart white PVC with frosted glazing — a big step up from the old one.

With energy costs continuing to rise, combining solar and battery with other home improvements just makes sense. Every little upgrade adds up.

Solar panels looking sharp on Garry's roof in Dundee! ☀️🔋

New front door and smart subfloor vents for Rex in Aberdeen! 🚪🌬️

Rex's old timber front door was letting in serious draughts, so we've replaced it with a modern, well-insulated alternative. But we didn't stop there — we also fitted smart air vents in the subfloor.

Why? Traditional subfloor vents blow cold air underneath your house constantly. Smart vents open and close automatically based on conditions, keeping the underfloor space dry while stopping unnecessary cold air from flowing through. Clever stuff!

Battery storage added to an existing solar system in Fyvie! 🔋☀️

Linda already had solar panels installed by another company a few years ago, but without a battery she was exporting most of her free energy back to the grid during the day and then buying it back at full price in the evening. Sound familiar?

4.05kW of solar panels and a 5.12 kWh battery now up and running for Heather, west of Peterhead! ☀️🔋

With energy prices continuing to climb, more and more people are looking at ways to take back control. Heather's now generating her own electricity and storing it for when she needs it most - that's real energy independence.

We'll be honest - this one had a few teething problems initially. We had to go back, download a firmware update, and give the battery a boost to get everything running smoothly. But that's the reality with technology sometimes. What matters is how you deal with it, and we made sure Heather got the end result she was after.

All working perfectly now, south-facing panels catching every bit of Scottish sunshine, and one very happy customer protected from the next price rise. ☀️
