We're proud to share the completion of the second phase restoration of the 15th-century St Mary's Chapel in Aberdeen! ⛪️

Working alongside OpenSpace Trust and GRAS Architects, North Group meticulously carried out a restoration project within this Category A listed building, preserving its historic significance. From intricate bespoke joinery repairs using French oak to traditional lime plaster and new scene setting lighting, every detail was handled with precision.

A huge thank you to our skilled team and our valued partners: Laing Traditional Masonry Group Ltd for their expert pointing and lime plaster work, North East Electronic Ltd. for the updated lighting systems and Finishing Touch for their beautiful French polishing. Their combined expertise was invaluable to this project!

We are looking for a motivated part-time Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Altens, Aberdeen.

📚 The role will involve processing of purchase and subcontractor invoices, reconciling statements, payroll cover and additional departmental duties. The ideal candidate will have a great attention to detail and be willing to learn new tasks in order to support the Finance Manager.

⭐ Experience with Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll and invoice processing is desirable, but training will be provided.

Capable of running projects with multiple site disciplines, supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.

Ideal candidates should hold valid SMSTS certification, and offshore certification would be an advantage.
