Inspectahire is looking for a full-time, permanent Field Technician to join our team in Portlethen, Aberdeen.

🔧 The Role:

Conduct NDT Surveys onshore/offshore (national/international)
Assist with equipment preparation
Support Team Leaders and senior technicians/engineers
Prepare reports/video footage for clients
Undergo training as required
Comply with QHSE policies
Conduct onsite appraisals of new employees

💼 Essential Skills:

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong communication skills
Problem-solving ability
Independent and team working capability
UK Driving License and willingness to travel
Physically fit for challenging inspections
Effective time management
Collaborative mindset

🌟 Desired Skills:

CCTV inspection proficiency
NDT experience
BOSIET, CAA Pilot, WAH Experience
Confined Space Experience
EMUUA & UT techniques proficiency
CSCS Card Holder
NDT Certification (ASNT Level II/III in Visual Testing)
Degree/diploma in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or related field

We are ITC approved trainers!

Inspectahire are approved as FLIR ITC training providers for Optical Gas Imaging (OGI). Using the latest technology from Teledyne FLIR, Inspectahire provides quality training in OGI with the use of the FLIR GF and the new G series camera systems.

Our instructors are all ITC approved and have a minimum of 10 years working in the offshore/oil & gas environment, and have used the GF camera systems extensively for baseline surveys and LDAR programs.
