The Community Energy Growth Fund is open to communities across Scotland looking to develop, own and benefit from renewable energy projects.

Whether you’re at the early ideas stage, developing a proposal or getting ready to deliver a project, funding could help turn those plans into action.

What a day! 🙌

Our staff day out was one to remember! We headed to Lochter Activity Centre for some racing and clay pigeon shooting, with plenty of friendly competition along the way!

Then it was on to our manager Iain’s house for what can only be described as the best BBQ ever! 🔥🍔🌭

Great activities, great food, and most importantly, great company. A brilliant day with an amazing team! 👏

We missed a couple of the team who couldn’t make it, but hopefully they can join us next time! 😊

Huge thanks to everyone who made it such a memorable one! ❤️

Quietly working hard 🌿🐦

One of our team recently had an Air Source Heat Pump installed at his own home, so he knows first-hand what we’re putting into our customers’ homes.

The best part? You can hear the birds singing over the heat pump, even with the system running flat out. 🐦🌱

Quiet, efficient heating doing exactly what it’s designed to do.

It’s always a good sign when our own workforce chooses the technology for their own home! 🔥

🥉 3rd in the World! 🥊

We’re delighted to have sponsored Harry Gauthier, who was selected to represent Scotland at the WKU World Kickboxing Championships in Berlin, held from 3–9 August.

And what a result! Harry came 3rd in the world in his age group, representing Scotland!

We're incredibly proud to announce that Sugplumb has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Community Engagement Award, sponsored by STV, at the Trades Awards 2026! 🎉

This recognition is for our work on the Compass Project with Camphill Wellbeing Trust, helping transform a former school into a community hub focused on health, wellbeing and sustainable living.

It's an honour to have played a part in such a meaningful project, and we'd like to thank Camphill Wellbeing Trust, our fantastic team, and everyone who has supported us along the way.

We're looking forward to meeting the judges later this month and wish all of the other finalists the very best of luck! 🤞
