🎉 Celebrating 60 years of Zeus Engineering.

On Friday, we took a well-earned day away from the workshop to mark a very special milestone for the business, 60 years of Zeus Engineering.

The team headed to Dunkeld for a day of quad trekking, clay pigeon shooting and air r***e shooting, followed by lunch together at Butterstone Loch.

It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, spend some time together and, most importantly, celebrate the people who continue to play such an important part in the Zeus story.

Reaching 60 years in business is something we are incredibly proud of, and a milestone that has only been possible thanks to the hard work and commitment of everyone who has been part of Zeus over the years.

A fantastic day with a great team, and a fitting way to celebrate 60 years. 🏍️🎯🏆

🎉 Congratulations to our Apprentices!

We're delighted to recognise the achievements of five apprentices from across AGZ Group who have recently reached important milestones in their studies.

👏 Lee Howie, Alfie Joyce and Josh Jackson have successfully completed their NC in Manufacturing Engineering, while Joseph Bremner and Thomas Shields have completed their HNC in Fabrication, Welding & Inspection.

These qualifications reflect the hard work, commitment and dedication each apprentice has shown throughout their training. Supporting the development of future talent remains a key part of AGZ Group's commitment to investing in people and building the skilled workforce of tomorrow.

Congratulations to all five apprentices on this fantastic achievement. We look forward to following your continued success and career development across the Group.

🏭 60 years of Zeus Engineering.

This photograph takes us back to where the story began, outside Zeus Engineering’s first premises in Coatdyke.

Pictured on the left are Donald and Isabell McCracken, whose vision, determination and hard work helped establish Zeus Engineering in 1966. Alongside a small team, traditional machinery and a commitment to quality, they laid the foundations for the business we know today.

The premises, equipment and technology may have changed considerably over the past six decades, but the foundations laid by Donald, Isabell and that early team remain central to Zeus today: skilled people, pride in workmanship and a commitment to supporting our customers.

As we celebrate 60 years in business, we are proud to look back at where it all started and grateful to every person who has contributed to the Zeus story since 1966.

From humble beginnings in Coatdyke to the modern precision-machining business we are today. ⚙️

🔴 WE’RE HIRING: PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER

Argon Engineering, part of the AGZ Group, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Airdrie.

The role will be based primarily at Argon Engineering, with occasional finance administration support provided across Zeus Engineering and Gillrick Metalwork as required.

We are looking for someone with strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll, along with solid experience in day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, reconciliations and financial record-keeping.

What we offer:

✅ 16 hours per week over two days
✅ Working days to be agreed
✅ Friendly and supportive team environment
✅ Structured handover and established working routine
