A huge congratulations to Ty Wibberley and Blake Wainwright, who have successfully completed their Metal Fabricator Level 3 Apprenticeships with Collis Engineering Ltd. 👏

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 2:30pm
Friday: 8:30am – 12:30pm

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Canteen Manager to take charge of our busy company canteen at Collis Engineering Ltd.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking fresh food, creating varied menus and providing a great service in a friendly workplace.

The Role:
✅ Manage the day-to-day running of the canteen
✅ Plan, prepare and serve fresh meals
✅ Order stock and manage suppliers
✅ Maintain high food hygiene standards and our 5★ Food Hygiene Rating
✅ Occasionally prepare buffets for company meetings and events

We're Looking For:
✔️ Previous catering or kitchen management experience

⚙️ The Role Includes:
✔ Producing detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or Inventor
✔ Preparing calculations and technical design data
✔ Managing project deliverables and deadlines
✔ Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
✔ Preparing Network Rail design submissions
✔ Carrying out CRE duties
✔ Supporting junior engineers and trainees

Collis Civil Engineering is looking for experienced Civil Engineering Operatives to support railway infrastructure projects across the UK. We specialise in high-quality structural steel solutions for the rail industry, including bridges, gantries, and infrastructure support — with safety, precision, and reliability at the heart of everything we do.

🔧 The Role
You’ll support a range of railway civil engineering works, offered initially on a zero-hours contract, giving flexibility and exposure to varied rail projects as required.

✅ Key Responsibilities
• Civil engineering works including groundworks, gantry installations, and structural tasks
• Working in line with all railway safety standards and site procedures
