Food bank donation being delivered to Bo'ness Food Pantry today as a community benefit offered for a housing project Monument Contracts & Maintenance Ltd have almost completed in Bo'ness for Falkirk Council. We are Hiring!

Monument Contracts carry out commercial, electrical, industrial and domestic construction work. We are currently in a period of growth where we have secured long term contracts for local authority, housing association and commercial clients. Our current trades employees are all multi-skilled and have gained experience in additional trades whilst working for Monument Contracts.

We are looking to expand our team by employing a labourer who considers themselves to be competent in various aspects of construction.

Our recent work portfolio includes contracts in hotels, restaurants, primary schools and care homes throughout Scotland. Previous contracts have included work in the North Coast of Scotland and there may be a requirement for the successful candidate to work away from home as and when required.

Duties:
Assisting with a complete range of electrical, plumbing and general construction duties including in commercial and domestic settings
Ensuring all work is to the highest quality, in line with current regulations and H&S compliant.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure working environment

What you’ll need:
CSCS
Experience in a construction related environment
Must be able to complete works under deadlines and to a high standard.
A full driving license and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required.
A multi skilled operative, who is willing to gain experience in a variety of trades alongside qualified electrical, plumbing and gas trades.

Our recent work portfolio includes contracts in hotels, restaurants, primary schools and care homes throughout Scotland. Previous contracts have included work in the North Coast of Scotland and there may be a requirement for the successful candidate to work away from home as and when required.

Duties:
Delivering a complete range of electrical duties including new installation and repair work in commerical and domestic settings
Installing a wide range of Electrical Equipment
Communicating with team members, clients, and others to coordinate electrical installation activities.
Ensuring all work is to the highest quality, in line with electrical regulations and H&S compliant.
Testing all electrical equipment and installations.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure working environment

What you’ll need:
Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition Regulations
Must be able to complete works under deadlines and to a high standard.
A full driving license and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required
A multi skilled operative, who is willing to gain experience in a variety of trades alongside electrical work.

Thanks to Stirling Council, Scotland Excel, Business Gateway and all other speakers who contributed to this event last week. It was really a really interesting forum event and worthwhile for SMEs.

It would be great if Clacks Council could do the same and be more open to work with local small businesses. Maybe this is something we will see if future?
