Enjoyed this bit of a challenge! 🛠️

A customer wanted their sliding patio doors reconfigured to open the opposite way, so they could finally arrange their living room layout properly.

Instead of them having to buy a whole new door unit, I completely dismantled and flipped the sashes, moved the tracks, re-routed the drainage, and upgraded the external security.

Works a treat, looks spotless, and saved them a fortune.

Nothing beats a busy Saturday morning!

Today, back with a repeat client to fix some failed double glazing in their sunroom.

Replaced two large units and one smaller unit using Low Emissivity Clear Toughened glass, ensuring the space stays safe, bright, and energy-efficient.

Then gave them such a thorough clean that we had to advise the customer to make sure the doors were open before walking through! 🪟👀

You might remember this stunning Black front door I fitted for this client a while back,
(swipe to the last photo to see it!). They were so happy with the result that they got me back in to tackle a tricky space issue in their utility room.
As you can see in the first picture, their old utility door opened inwards, completely blocking the tumble dryer and making laundry day a bit of a hassle.
My solution was to supply and fit a sleek new UPVC door that opens outwards instead.
This simple swap instantly freed up that vital floor space!
As a great bonus, this new door features an integrated window that can tilt and open independently for a nice breeze. 🌬️

Attended a job yesterday for a set of French doors that were jammed.

The old mechanism had failed, leaving the handle spinning and the customer stuck.

The Fix: Opened the doors with zero damage using non-destructive techniques.

The Tune-up: Re-aligned the doors so they now glide open effortlessly.

The Upgrade: Swapped out the basic 2-roller lock for a heavy-duty, insurance-approved multipoint hook lock.
