Showcasing two of this weeks installation.
Both identical specifications to our Dartmouth Blue Altrincham showroom demo model.

Fully reconditioned and installed with the after market “ElectricKit advanced” multi element system.

Options featured:-
Remote screen and stand.
Dual radiant hob.
Twin square hob in place of a warming plate.
Upgraded roasting cupboard on the left side.

Firstly over in Prestwich, Manchester to install this lovely Hague Blue cooker.

Second up was a trip St Helens, Merseyside to install a beautifully prepared Cement Grey cooker.

In both cases this involved the dismantle and removal of 13amp single element cookers. Currently very expensive to run and not particularly controllable, especially during the recent high temperatures we have been experiencing.

Finishing the week off with a late 2005, 2 oven “Classic” 13amp electric. Converted today with the ElectricKit “Advanced” system.
Installed with an upgraded dual radiant hob.

An essential part of any AGA cooker service is having your engineer check the quality and quantity of insulation internal to your cooker.

You may notice some signs that all is not right.
Such as:-

🆘 Increased running costs.
🆘 Uneven cooking result.
🆘 Excessively hot outer panels, top plate, front plate & doors.
🆘 Struggling to maintain cooking temperatures.
🆘 Top oven no longer “roasting”.
🆘 Melted badge.
🆘 On some models various components may fail earlier than expected.

As you can see on Tuesday this AGA cooker underwent a top off repack.

Old rock wool removed and disposed ✅
Vermiculite compacted to fill empty pockets ✅
Additional vermiculite added to correctly top up ✅
Superior high density ceramic top plate blanket ✅
Ceramic rope rings installed under the cast iron expansion rings ✅

One of this week’s beautifully restored Aga cookers, finished in Drop Cloth and fitted with the ElectricKit “Advanced” controllable electric system ⚡️

Featuring a fully upgraded roasting cupboard, twin radiant hob replacing the warming plate, a 1.6kW induction hob, plus a remote control screen and stand for added convenience.
