Bird Flue!

Ok it’s not and it’s in a chimney but you never quite know what the day will bring and today it was a call out to a bird stuck a behind a gas fire in the chimney in Hale.

We tested the gas, made sure it was good. Isolated the gas, took the fire out and released the bird. Customer v happy and one lucky bird if I do say so myself 👌

Does that airing cupboard have a leak?

We get lots of boiler repairs on new builds! The common issue just smash it in on new builds🤬

Not sure if the installers care or are just not given the time to do the job properly..who knows!!

This one is on Stamford Brook in Timperley. White domestic water expansion vessel leaking! Needed replacing and a leaky pump! Problem is when we started we discovered how poorly executed the installation was and we ended up with more worked than planned!!

Issues like using skirting board in the airing board to fit both expansion vessels on! A plaster boarded wall with just 2 small screws holding the skirting board up with the heavy expansion vessels on - How this has not fallen off is pure luck! Pipework not clipped, leaking push fit fittings, no washers in the pump!

We of course did the job and put right!

All done and no leaks.
