Another day another incorrect gas meter. Igem 13 regulation says that the maximum kw rating in a house using a U6 meter should be no more than 65 kw With all appliances running at max there should be a working pressure at the meter minimum 18mb. Phew …. Now you understand that I can explain the pictures. Supply pipe to meter from the road is too small to supply the meter with the gas needed. Called out cadent to confirm the problem as required, hopefully the customer will get a new supply pipe today.

Update from customer 20/2/26. New main has been put into the house from the road. The original pipe was too small for the house. With everything running we are now getting 21 mb at the meter and correct working pressure at appliances. Cadent used a mole to do the job.
