An unlucky customer yesterday in Leeds, boiler not firing and leaking into living room below.
2 separate faults, Worcester left hand block had a pin hole leak and boiler hadn’t been serviced in years meaning the condensate was badly blocked up and seals perished.
Left hand block replaced, boiler serviced, back up and running 🔧🔶

A few from yesterday 🔧 2 boiler services in Wakefield.
🔶Followed by a leaking flow turbine adaptor in Leeds on a Worcester boiler
🔶Then a stuck diverter valve cartridge in Wakefield on a baxi boiler
🔶Finally a late evening call out from a customer in Leeds who had put a nail through a pipe when repairing flooring!

🔸 Thermostat not working - replaced old thermostat with new
🔸 Busy day today working on an existing bathroom refit and 3 boiler breakdowns.

Working in Leeds this afternoon. Dealing with a Worcester boiler not working correctly. This turned out to be damaged baffles which were replaced.
Another ideal boiler whistling this time turned out to be the injector.
Finally a baxi boiler with no display which was just a blown internal fuse.

A couple of jobs from this afternoon.

🔶Customer reported a boiler with no power in Knottingley. Attended and the boiler had power however main PCB had blown. Ordered and fit PCB the same day.

🔶Another reporting Ideal logic making a whistling noise. This is very common with the ideal and required a new gas valve and I replaced the injector.

🔶 Multiple emergency call outs in loft spaces, one causing the plaster board to collapse. Leaking pipe work to the header tank replaced. Further pipe work corroding on other jobs needing replacement.

🔶 stop c**k leaking causing damage to property. Replaced secondary stop c**k

Bit of a different one this week. Driver has done a smashing job taking this gas meter off the wall.

Pipework had been damaged externally and internally. Access made to pipe work inside the property and pipework / meter replaced.
