This 36.6-metre, six-bay steel portal-frame building at Harbottle Grange brings together:

✅ Secure grain storage
✅ Open, general-purpose storage
✅ Dedicated livestock housing

Reinforced concrete panels, fibre-cement roofing with rooflights and durable steel cladding provide a robust, practical structure.

Inside, sheep pens, gates and concrete flooring equip the livestock area, while an electric roller shutter and separate pedestrian entrance provide access to the grain store.

Take a look at this previous project - full design, fabrication, and installation of a new steel portal cattle shed for a valued returning client in Longhorsley, Northumberland.

Measuring 30.50m x 10.70m x 4.80m, the new structure seamlessly interconnects with an existing Farmplan building we erected back in 2011.

The building features:
🏗️ Profile 6 fibre cement roof sheets
🌲 Spaced timber boarding on the elevations down to concrete panels
🚪 Bespoke fabricated gates and Galebreakers for ventilation
🧱 A durable concrete floor for easy maintenance
