🚀 Strategic Asset Acquisition & Capability Expansion
We are pleased to announce that Flitetec Limited has acquired most of the assets of Aeropair Limited, further strengthening our Source • Make • Integrate capability across the aerospace supply chain.
The acquisition expands Flitetec’s approved manufacturing and supply portfolio to include:

- Plastics and transparency manufacture & repair
Supporting civil and military fixed-wing aircraft, complementing our established and helicopter interior product ranges.

-Fastener manufacturing and distribution
Enhancing our ability to support legacy, specialist and hard-to-source requirements with full aerospace traceability.

-Bonding lead manufacturing
Adding further depth to our specialist materials and process capability.

To support a structured and controlled transition, we are pleased to welcome Stephen Findlay Jnr to Flitetec Limited as Programme Manager – Business Integration.

Stephen brings deep operational knowledge of the acquired activities and will lead the transfer, establishment and integration of these capabilities into our Amersham facility, ensuring continuity of supply, technical integrity and customer confidence throughout the transition period.

This acquisition reinforces Flitetec Limited’s commitment to providing resilient, vertically integrated and compliant solutions across both defence and civil aerospace programmes — particularly where legacy platforms and specialist capabilities are critical.

👋 Welcome to Flitetec, Jason!

We’re delighted to welcome Jason Phillips, who joined Flitetec on 5 January as our new Stores Manager.

Jason brings extensive experience in stores, logistics, stock control and team leadership from fast-paced, highly regulated environments, with a strong focus on traceability, quality standards and continuous improvement. His expertise will be a great asset as we continue to strengthen our operational foundations.

Outside of work, Jason is a keen motorsports enthusiast 🚗 and has recently taken on a new challenge — learning to play the 5-string banjo since Christmas 🎵.

🎄 Christmas Jumper Day at Flitetec ! 🎄

Today the team swapped their usual aviation-grade precision for festive knitwear of highly questionable aerodynamic performance. From jingling jumpers to designs that should probably come with a Part 21 approval… we’ve got it all.

But behind the tinsel and terrible puns is something meaningful:
✨ All donations from today are going to The Salvation Army, supporting the incredible work they do for families and individuals in need this Christmas.

A huge thank you to the Flitetec team for getting fully into the spirit — proving once again that whether it’s aircraft interiors, distributed components or festive fashion, we always deliver.

What an incredible week at AIX2025!

Flitetec was proud to exhibit once again at the Aircraft Interiors Expo – and this year was a huge success. A heartfelt thank you to all our existing customers, new connections, and valued suppliers who visited our stand. Your support and interest mean everything to us.

A special shout-out to our outstanding sales team led by Chris Osborne, with key contributions from Frédéric Tissandier and an impressive debut from our new team members Andy and Robert – you all did a phenomenal job showcasing what Flitetec is all about.

We’re excited to build on the opportunities and conversations we started this week, and to continue growing our business together. Here’s to the future of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in aircraft interiors!

BREAKING: Flitetec’s elite Tour de AIX team sets off for Hamburg. 🚵🚵‍♀️🚵🏻‍♂️

No private jets. No limos. Just pure pedal power and sheer determination (and maybe a croissant or two along the way🥐).

🎄🎅 Team Spirit in Full Swing for ! 🎅🎄

Today, the Flitetec team donned their festive finest to support Save the Children and raise awareness for a fantastic cause. From reindeer to snowflakes, our Christmas jumpers brought holiday cheer to the office – and helped us raise over £40 for this important charity.

It’s always brilliant to see the team come together for initiatives like this, showing not just our festive spirit but also our commitment to making a difference. 💪✨
