The Ferry Pilots Big jets, little jets, turboprops-global aircraft delivery

This approach and landing marked the end of an epic ferry flight and engineering project for this Islander! The aircraft finally departed Malaysia after engineering issues in November fitted with a ferry tank system and embarked on a challenging global ferry flight: no autopilot, basic navigation equipment, extreme weather and ocean crossings. The aircraft was on its final leg to the UK when it experienced a catastrophic engine failure and diverted to Luxembourg.
We deployed our AOG response team to assess the damage and it didn’t look good.
We then assisted with the removal of the failed engine, inhibiting the good engine and the aircraft systems and transferring the aircraft onto the FAA register once a new engine had been installed.
A massive team effort with numerous challenges along the way but we were proud to finally deliver the aircraft to Guernsey where it will undergo refurbishment. A massive thanks to and GA Maintenance in Luxembourg plus of course .

Day 4 of the BN2T-4S ferry and on departure from Long Island New Yorkers got to see the BN2T-4S up close as we flew down the Hudson River. Day 4 we refuelled in Myrtle Beach before flying on to Miami for the night.

Day 3 of the BN2T-4S ferry flight. CYFB-CYGL-KFRG. A very long day but great to be able to strip off the cold weather gear to land into the spring heat of New York State. RNP approach into Grand Rivière and then vectors to a visual approach into Farmingdale under all the JFK arrivals.
Customs were super friendly and helpful at FRG, we would definitely recommend them as a point of entry! the FBO that looked after us were great too! Friendly and professional service!

Day 2 of the BN2T-4S ferry. Greenland views never disappoint! A recent ferry flight of BN2T-4S from the UK to the Caribbean saw us crossing the ice cap between Reykjavík (BIRK) and Kangerlussuaq (BGSF). Our plan had been to go via BGHH and CYYR but on the day the weather in Nuuk was very poor and the headwinds too strong over the Atlantic to make CYYR safely so we routed to BGSF then on to CYFB.

Day 1 of a BN2T-4S ferry flight from Lee On Solent EGHF to the Caribbean had us flying up to Wick (EGPC) then on to Reykjavík (BIRK). We flew RNP approaches into both airports testing the capability of the avionics and autopilot that performed well.

We recently had the pleasure of delivering this freshly overhauled BN2T-4S from the UK to the new operator in the Caribbean. The aircraft performed faultlessly over the long days in testing conditions, taking in Scotland, Iceland, Greenland and Canada before heading South to Long Island NY, Florida and into the Caribbean with stops in the Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands and Trinidad and Tobago.
