🦾 Sharing different skills from our range today!

We run very popular small group and 1 to 1 welding courses. It looks like Dave's pupul yesterday had a productive day!

Our strength lies in our range of skills - today this moody image shows off beautifully Cory's hot work skills. A bespoke gate in the making and it will look amazing!

We have enjoyed making these penguins holding flippers (our first!) As part of another collaboration with Hazel Moore Artist Blacksmiths.

They may be related to a recent study by the British Antarctic Survey (for whom we also make parts 😁) showing that the world's largest chinstrap penguin colony on Zavodovski Island has lost 63% of its occupied nests s**e 2011 - but either way they are very cute and we look forward to seeing the finished piece!!

🥰 Our new website is live! Take a look...

All you are used to seeing is still there - the metal art and gift shop, courses and welding supplies, but it now reflects all of the fabrication services we can offer in-house, thanks to our amazing team!

Strictly has started 😆 and after a brief forklift ballroom number our Autumn move round is complete!

One of our bespoke racks which holds large sheets of different thicknesses of metal has been relocated so that it will hold even larger ones!

😃 We welcome George to the Hurstbourne Forge team!

George is our new Workshop Assistant and will be another link in our chain. Supporting our fabricators across our whole range of operations, he will gain a wide range of skills himself - welcome George!

😃 We finished the week with a road (well, car park) trial!

Britain is building its own battlefield robots instead of buying American. The UK Army contracted XRC Robotics to trial RHINO, a modular ground vehicle that can swap missions in minutes.

We have made a bespoke transport bucket, and put it through its paces in the workshop car park 😆. Dave has it nailed!
