🚛 JMC Packaging Adds Third MAW Engineering Vehicle

We’re proud to have delivered another bespoke vehicle solution for long-standing customer JMC Packaging, part of the GSH Group.

Working closely with the JMC team, MAW Engineering developed a versatile body incorporating both a Dhollandia tail lift and underslung towing hitch — allowing the vehicle to handle palletised deliveries while retaining the flexibility to tow drawbar trailers.

Following the success of the original builds, JMC Packaging has now invested in their third MAW-built truck and body combination.

This latest build features a Renault truck supplied by Diamond Trucks, with the Dhollandia tail lift supplied by Fleet Maintenance.

A big thank you to Jim Cullen, Aislinn Coary and the JMC Packaging/GSH Group team, along with Diamond Trucks and Fleet Maintenance, for their continued support.

Another great example of listening to our customers and engineering a solution that works. 👏

Built strong. Built to last. Built to the customer’s specification. 💪

The challenge on this build was to create a strong, fully welded flatbed body that would offer maximum durability and stand up to the elements for years to come.

Our engineers worked closely with the customer throughout the process to ensure the body was designed and manufactured to their exact requirements.

MAW also worked alongside the galvanising company, taking into consideration bath size, galvanising requirements and the fabrication process to help minimise distortion during hot-dip galvanising.

The end result — a seriously strong, fully welded and hot-dip galvanised flatbed body, engineered for durability and built for the job. 👌
