Welder/fabricator wanted

Small fabrication business with a close knit team. Workshop based

Must have experience in both mild steel and stainless steel fabrication, MIG and TIG

Laser welding also but training can be provided.

Competitive rates for the right person

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Projects ranging from stainless steel flood control work to large precast concrete mouldage.

Apprentice also considered or someone looking flexi/ part time hours.

Through the books or self employed options available.

Just a notice to customers we are unfortunately having to implement a policy of payment up front before all orders of stainless steel and aluminium will be processed.

This is due to an increase of people contacting us looking material in a panic to which we place an order with our suppliers and then send out the relevant price and lead time to the “customer” to then be ignored.

Stainless is especially hard to then return to our suppliers due to contamination concerns so we end the end up be left holding the bag for the cost of said material.

This year alone we have been caught with this to the tune of £2200 which we can no longer afford to absorb as a small business.
