An experienced and skilled HGV mechanic is required for our in-house Workshop at Swirlburn, Colliston for a varied fleet of commercial HGV’s and trailers.
Applicants should be competent, reliable and are required to undertake the following tasks:-
 Preventative Maintenance of HGV’s & trailers
 Routine servicing and maintenance whilst also diagnosing faults and undertaking the appropriate repairs
 Complete service records accurately
 Inspection and pre-MOT checks to DVSA standards for Annual tests
A full driving licence including HGV minimum Class 2 is preferred.

WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR (FULL-TIME)
We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Weighbridge operator based at Waulkmill Quarry, Inverkeilor, Arbroath. Applicants should have a flexible approach to working at alternative sites if required.
Duties include:-
 Operating weighbridge systems to accurately record incoming and outgoing vehicle weights
 Produce required documentation to drivers/customers
 Liase with transport office, drivers and site staff
 Accurate data entry and record keeping
 Dealing with incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:-
 Excellent communication skills
 Strong attention to detail
 Reliable, punctual and organised
 Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
 Strong IT skills for the operation of weighbridge software
 Good geographical knowledge of local and surrounding areas
