First time at Property & Poppadoms and a was great event! Thanks to Adam for the invite 🙌🏽
Great evening at Property & Poppadoms Derby lastnight. A fabulous opportunity to network with local property professionals and expand our network.
The guest speaker Grace from Pretzel Energy walked us through all things EPC which was much more interesting than I'd imagined, covering topics such as;

🥨 The effect on landlords
🥨 The effect on wider businesses
🥨 What we can do to prepare now
🥨 Exemptions that are available
I have to say it's not something I have put too much thought into previously, but with things changing it's something that is definitely now on my radar, Having a greater understanding of how the ratings are calculated means when we are sourcing properties we can factor these things in, and we can help our clients to understand what work they may need to do to increase the EPC ratings on their properties.
It was great to also catch up with fellow Aspire Academy delegate Ian Jasper and some great inspiration and conversations had with Midlands Lettings too.
As I always say, Property is about the people!
