Last week, our Director, Richard, and Apprentice, Hayden, attended an intensive two-day training programme with EnviroVent in Harrogate. The course covered the latest ventilation regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices, ensuring we remain fully up to date with current legislation and developments.

We’re also delighted to congratulate Richard on successfully renewing his NICEIC certification. He passed all four modules and examinations with top marks across the board—an outstanding achievement that reflects his commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards. 👏🏆

🏗️ Project Spotlight – The Sassov London 🏗️

We’re proud to be delivering the MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) installation at the £5 million Sassov London Project in Golders Green (Helenslea Avenue).

This exciting redevelopment involves the demolition of the existing building and the construction of a brand-new, modern three-storey synagogue, featuring:

• A 200-person main prayer hall
• A function hall
• Commercial kitchen facilities
• A Mikvah

Working on behalf of Swiftdale Developments, our team has been carefully designing and installing a bespoke MVHR system to serve these high-occupancy spaces. Delivering exceptional indoor air quality while discreetly accommodating large volumes of plant equipment has required a highly detailed and coordinated design process.

Over the past few months, we’ve been on site completing our first fix installation, working closely with the wider project team to ensure everything is delivered to the highest standard.

It’s always rewarding to see a complex design start becoming a reality, and we can’t wait to show you the finished result.

Condensation in New builds - Did you know? 💧

A brand-new home can contain up to 8,000 litres of excess moisture once construction is complete. That’s because materials like concrete, plaster, screed and brickwork all retain water during the building process.

Even after you move in, everyday activities such as showering, cooking, drying clothes indoors and simply breathing add even more moisture to the air. In fact, a family of four can produce up to 18 litres of water vapour every day.

It’s completely normal for a new build to take 12–24 months to fully dry out, which is why condensation is often more noticeable during the first couple of years—especially in colder weather.

✨ 💨 Heat Pump with built in MEV & stand alone PIV System – Phase One Complete 💪🏼

RB Central Systems have successfully completed the first block of 14 apartments for MD Construction at the development in Enfield.

Our team installed and commissioned Heat pump with built in MEV & stand alone PIV system throughout each apartment, providing energy-efficient ventilation and lasting comfort for future residents.

With 48 apartments set to be delivered across the development, we’re proud to be part of this fantastic project and look forward to completing the next phases.
