Another driveway completed for a happy customer in Ashford, Surrey.

The client wanted something different from the usual block paving so we recommended using driveway grade sandstone, which is thicker than usual sandstone that you would use for your patio and able to take the weight of a car.

Pointing with sand and cement will give it strength and stop weeds from growing which is often a complaint with traditional block paving driveways.

Built both the summer house and raised paving with pergola.
Really enjoyed using the reclaimed steps from the existing garden and I think they look amazing alongside the slabs
I think it all blends in well together, what do you think?

Haven't posted on here that much as I've been busy building this.
Finished it off today, a summer house build with block and brickwork, insulated and plastered with a flat GRP roof with skylights.
Designed and built by Marshall Brickwork
Really enjoyed building this one.

The builder has completed the summer house that I did the brickwork for, now I'm back to build a raised patio area with Sagar paving and using some reclaimed steps that have been sitting in the customers garden as an edging, really looking forward to this one.

Back to the future brickwork, this 1970's wall was in a sorry state, but rather than throwing perfectly good blocks away we cleaned them up and reused them, there not to everyone's taste but I quite like them.
