We had some kit we didn’t need. had a playground that needed filling. 🤝

So, thanks to the brilliant , we’ve donated everything from drainage pipes to wheelbarrows — turning construction leftovers into playground treasure! 🛠️➡️🏃‍♂️💨

Our first outing of the season at Brands Hatch Circuit on 24th May, competing as guests in the Classic Car Club Championship, proved to be an eventful one for the Walker Construction-sponsored Mini.

In challenging temperatures, Chris Brown of ATW Motorsport once again took the wheel and delivered a fantastic performance!

A snapped alternator belt during qualifying, led to a frantic repair effort before race one. Despite starting both races from the back of the grid, the team fought through the field to secure an impressive 3rd place in class in both races.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and determination. We’re looking forward to returning to Brands Hatch in August and building on this strong start to the season.

📢 Announcement: a new strategic partnership with Smas Worksafe, a leading provider of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Ltd health and safety assessments.

This collaboration marks an important step in streamlining our procurement process and ensuring every contractor working with us meets a consistent, high standard of Health & Safety on all future projects.

By partnering with Smas Worksafe, we’re making life easier for our supplier base. A more efficient pre-qualification route that reduces unnecessary paperwork for contractors who already hold SSIP accreditation.

Working smarter, not harder, while keeping safety front and centre.

Dave Bail, our Compliance, Safety & Assurance Manager, commented:

Our team had the privilege of spending the day volunteering at the beautiful Elham Valley Vineyard, helping tend the vines in preparation for this year’s harvest! 🌿🍇

It was a wonderful opportunity to step away from our desks, enjoy the fresh air, and contribute to an organisation that makes such a meaningful difference in our community.

The Fifth Trust is an award-winning charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and providing opportunities, skills, and experiences to over 170 students across its centres.

Their work is truly inspiring, and it was a pleasure to play a small part in supporting their incredible mission.
