We are looking for a new recycling operative!
We have a great opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our metal recycling and waste recycling teams as a waste recycling operative.

Key Responsibilities Include:
-Welcoming customers/ visitors to the main yard and supporting with loading and unloading requirements
-Working in conjunction with the wider team, to maintain standards (signage, cleanliness, presentation and upkeep of the main site and surrounding buildings)
-Supporting with recycling duties including, segregation and picking of selected materials from a moving conveyor to maximise recycling rates;
-General labouring duties within the yard
-Housekeeping to ensure that the facilities are kept clean, tidy, and free of trip hazards;
-Following site and Company health and safety rules and procedures at all times.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
-Ability to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced, busy environment;
-A strong work ethic and punctual;
-Focus and concentration;
-Good communication both written and verbal, to be able to understand and follow instructions and site rules;
-Personal Protective Equipment provided by the Company at all times is worn.
-Safety and environmental awareness, maintain all aspects of Health and Safety pertaining to the relevant work area;
-Knowledge of the waste and metal recycling industries is desirable but not essential; as full training will be given.
