Due to a retirement within the team we are currently looking to recruit the following position –
Delivery Driver/Warehouse Relief
We are looking for a new person to join the TRS Team, with occasional warehouse duties adding variety to what is foremost a driving role. For the right candidate there could be a potential to progress into a warehouse/logistics management role in the future. This role requires a relatively a clean driving licence and positive, ‘can do’ approach. A current Forklift truck license would also be an advantage. For insurance purposes applicants must be 25 or over.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide an efficient and reliable delivery service to our customers including residential homeowners and members of the trade.
• Be comfortable delivering across the South West
•Drive safely and courteously, obeying the rules of the road and representing TRS in a positive way.
•Keep accurate paperwork and delivery information for our company and customer account records.
•Work together with colleagues and other departments to deliver a great customer experience and a level of service considered second to none.
•On occasion, as delivery requirements allow, conduct general warehouse and fleet maintenance duties such as unloading, storing, labelling, picking, packing and even jet-washing the vehicles.
•Help maintain a clean and safe working environment for you and your colleagues and optimise space utilisation.
