Our 7.53″ Square TFT offers a very modern appearance with its symmetrical shape being very pleasing to the eye. The display has a 800(RGB) x 800 resolution which we believe allows for the creation of intricate graphical user interfaces. Optically the display performs very well in both indoor and outdoor environments, its high brightness of 1000 cd/m² and high contrast ratio of 1000:1 means that even in full sunlight the display will perform exceptionally well. Our new 4.3″ Bar TFT LCD with optically bonded PCAP touch is the latest addition to our comprehensive range of Bar TFT LCD. The display sports a 800(RGB) x 130 resolution and is capable of displaying up to 16.7M colours, a 800 cd/m² brightness and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 makes the display ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The 12.3″ 1920(RGB)x720 Bar TFT was the de-facto display size for the automotive industry when designing the latest digital dashboard and infotainment screen, but potentially one size does not fit all! Compact city cars may not have the space for the 12.3″ displays or with dashboards being streamlined the 12.3″ size may now be considered too small.

Our bar type or stretch TFT LCD range now includes 10.3″ and 15.0″ sizes both aimed at this type of application, the resolution on these displays has been maintained at the 1920(RGB) x 720 pixels allowing for the use of existing graphical user interfaces that may well have been designed for use on the 12.3″ display. Optically both sizes have a very high specification, IPS wide viewing angles of 85°/85°/85°/85°, high brightness long life LED backlights suitable for full sunlight viewing, 1000:1+ contrast ratios and a full colour palette of 16.7M colours. Another key feature of these displays is the operating temperature range, both sizes have been designed with the automotive market in mind so are able to operate down at -30°C and up at +85°C.

After the success of the 12.3″ Bar TFT within the automotive industry, the natural progression for the dashboard display plus the in-vehicle environment/entertainment display appears to be the need for a bigger screen, our 15″ IPS Bar TFT would appear to provide this solution. The larger display has the same resolution (1920(RGB)x720) as the 12.3″ allowing for the use of existing graphical user interfaces.

The new 15″ IPS display has a very good optical specification, ultra-wide viewing angles of 85°/85°/85°/85°, a high brightness of 950cd/m², a contrast ratio of 1300:1 plus a 16.7M full colour palette. The display is fitted with a cover lens normally associated with a PCAP touch, this allows the display to be fitted into an installation without the need for any additional display protection screen/filter.

Our 4.5" LTPS (low temperature polysilicon) TFT display with CTP & HDMI offers OEM product designers an easy to integrate dynamic display solution. The display features a full HD resolution of 1920(RGB) x 1080 (AA: 98.0496(H) x 55.404(V)mm) normally only associated with larger displays allowing software designers to create amazing graphical user interfaces. Touch functionality is provided by an optically bonded capacitive 5-point multi-touch offering point and gesture functions and interfaces directly to your application hardware via its micro USB connection.

The display has a very good optical specification with wide viewing angles of 80/80/80/80 degrees, a long life (50khrs) LED backlight producing a display brightness of 1100cd/m2 plus a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and a 16.7M colour palette further enhance the displays optical performance even in full sun. The module is compact and lightweight with outline dimensions of 115.3(H) x 77.02(V) x 20.38(D)mm and weighs just 106g.

Our range of bar type TFT displays is constantly evolving and expanding as OEM product designers require colourful dynamic displays to fit those awkward spaces. By using a bar type or stretch display it is no longer necessary to squeeze in a so called "industry standard" size and format which in many instances is a compromise to what the marketeers, product designers and ultimately the user really requires.

Our latest addition is our 8" IPS TFT with a high 1600(RGB) x 480 resolution within an active area of 194.4(H) x 58.32(V)mm, wide viewing angles of 80/80/80/80 and no pre-fixed viewing direction meaning the display can be used in both landscape and portrait orientations without the loss of image quality. Its optical performance is further enhanced by a 425nit brightness, a 900:1 contrast ratio and a 16.7M colour palette. The display's LVDS interface is ideal for connecting to a host of todays single board PC's. The module has outline dimensions of 208.0(H) x 73.0(V) x 6.86(D)mm.

With the demand from OEM product manufacturers for high resolution displays within small footprints, display manufacturers are having to address these calls to meet the needs of today’s engineers and designers. Many of the latest designs for OEM products need to be smaller but the users require more features resulting in more sophisticated processes and a more complex graphical user interface. We believe our latest 5.0″ LTPS (Low Temperature Poly-Silicon) TFT LCD (KD050FHFLD079-C085A) with its high resolution of 1920(RGB) x 1080 pixels goes some way to meet these requirements.

Our 5.0" (KD050HDFIA020-06-C020E-SP003A-TYPEC) 720(RGB) x 1280 resolution IPS TFT LCD with an optically bonded capacitive touch uses this latest TYPE C interface.
