Every animal deserves a second chance.

As part of our 24-hour Walking Football Challenge, we're also raising funds for Saving & Rehoming Strays, a charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for dogs in need.

Their volunteers work tirelessly to give vulnerable animals the care they deserve and help them start a new chapter with forever families.

Every child deserves the very best care💜.

That's why one of the charities we're supporting through our 24-hour Walking Football Challenge is Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.

The charity helps ensure babies, children and young people receive the extra care, comfort and support they need while in hospital. They ensure funding for life-changing equipment, research to providing family support services, their work makes a lasting difference when families need it most.

We're proud to be raising money to help them continue their incredible work.

We’re kicking off our annual charity challenge! ⚽
This September, the Peacock Salt team will be taking on a 24-hour Walking Football Challenge, playing continuously from 5:00pm on Thursday 3rd September until 5:00pm on Friday 4th September.
We're raising money for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and Saving & Rehoming Strays, two organisations making a real difference to the lives of children, families and animals in need.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing our training, fundraising progress and ways you can get involved.

Salt isn't just for roads, water softeners, and food processing... it's for art too🎨.
We recently had the pleasure of supporting a degree show exhibition at the Glasgow School of Art by supplying salt for artist Jagoda Natalia Zwiernik's collection, The Silence of Matter.

The project used salt to preserve objects within the exhibition, creating a unique exploration of material transformation and preservation.

We're always excited to see the unexpected and creative ways salt can be used, and this was certainly one of them.

🌱 Spring Clean Alert! 🌱

At Peacock Salt, we’re proud to partner alongside Associated British Ports as part of our annual port clean-up initiative.

Thanks to the hard work of both teams, we collected an incredible 12 bags of waste from around the port area a brilliant achievement that has made a real difference to the environment and appearance of the port. 👏

The cleaned areas are now looking neat, tidy, and something everyone can take pride in. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their continued support and teamwork in helping keep our port clean and welcoming for all.

You may have seen the term HFSS appearing more in conversations about food in the UK.
HFSS stands for High Fat, Salt and Sugar — a set of government guidelines aimed at improving public health.
